Hunter Area - Community Legal Education
18 November - we will be holding a workshop in Maitland on 18 November. If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander women, we would encourage you to attend this workshop. Please contact Alexis Joseph on 1800 686 587 for more information.

We will also be visiting community women's organisations in the Hunter Area to introduce ourselves, drop in resources and posters and get to know the local services.

Launch of the Little Black Book for Strong Black Women

Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre is launching the 2010 Edition of the Little Black Book for Strong Black Women.
Come to the launch on 10 December 2009 in Marrickville. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are welcome to attend the launch and pick up your new 2010 edition of the Little Black Book
The BOOK LAUNCH WILL BE ON 10 December 2009 in MARRICKVILLE

Launch of the Little Black Book!

Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre is reprinting the Little Black Book for Strong Black Women for 2010. We will be launching the Little Black Book on 10 December 2009 in MARRICKVILLE

Most of the Little Black Book is going to stay just the same, so it will be a diary for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls, with information about domestic and family violence, sexual assault, important information and the contact details for other organisations.
