The Little Black Book for Strong Black Women will be launched on 10 December 2009!

THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK FOR STRONG BLACK WOMEN BOOK LAUNCH

EVENT: Book Launch

DATE: Thursday 10 December 2009

The LBB is a diary to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women from age 13, with information about domestic and family violence and sexual assault. The information supports the safety and protection of Aboriginal women and their children. We hope it will give inspiration and support to women seeking to move on from he effects of violence. It also acknowledges other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who have worked long and hard in their communities to stop violence against women.

The 2010 edition of the Little Black Book for Strong Black Women will contain updated information about support, legal and counseling services and information about domestic violence and sexual assault.

The launch will feature an art exhibition, readings, performances and sharing of stories and information.

If you are in Sydney and would like to attend the launch of the book, please contact Leonie or Thea on 1800 686 587 or 02 9569 3847 for more information about the launch.
